If you draft the Rams to win the Super Bowl, nobody else in your league owns that contract. They can disagree, complain, or try to buy it from you later. They cannot draft the same position.
That scarcity is what makes the board feel like a draft. You are not checking boxes against a house line. You are building a book while the people in your league take options away from you.
The board shows risk before you pick
Sharp Sheet shows the current sportsbook price, implied win chance, how much the position can drag your bankroll, and how much it can climb. A favorite looks safer but has more value to lose. A long shot can die quietly or turn into the best asset in the league.
The safest pick is not always the best pick. Draft position, what the room has already taken, and how much risk your book can carry all matter.
The clock belongs to the server
Every manager sees the same order, available board, and pick clock. Once a selection is accepted, that future is gone for everybody. Closing your phone does not pause the room.
Commissioners choose the date, clock, league size, and number of futures before the draft begins. Those rules lock once the first future comes off the board.
